Ceramics
Among the applications that are currently being developed they include some very interesting in technical ceramics.
Dunite aggregates from our mine are CE certified and have mechanical properties that make it a perfect raw material for construction concretes, bituminous mixes, breakwaters and railway ballast.
We are also getting good results in technical ceramics applications.
Construction ceramics
Recent developments have obtained promising results regarding the use of the refractory properties of the mineral in order to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation grades of some traditional construction materials and also their fire protection grading. Dunite´s properties make it an excellent raw material for the production of stone wool.
