CASTING SAND:

It is the main component of the Olivine based casting sands with properties that make it very easy to fill the
moulds.

CONSTRUCTION:

Dunite aggregates from our mine are CE certified and have mechanical properties that make it a perfect raw material for construction concretes, bituminous mixes, breakwaters and railway ballast. We are also getting good results in technical ceramics applications. Recent developments have obtained promising results regarding the use of the refractory properties of the mineral in order to improve the thermal and acoustic insulation grades of some traditional construction materials and also their fire protection grading. Dunite´s properties make it an excellent raw material for the production of stone wool.

ENVIRONMENTAL. CO2 Capture:

This is a strategic sector for PASEK due to the high carbonation capacity of the Dunite for the absorption of CO2. These characteristics as a natural product with regeneration properties make it ideal to be used in many different environmental applications like sandblasting, land pH control or water treatment plants.
